Directions from Kittery Maine: Take the I-95 North/Maine Turnpike towards Augusta/Portland. Take Exit 52 - I-95 North/Falmouth (US-1). At the end of the "spur", get on I-295 North towards Brunswick (Exit 11). (For Alternate Route see *) Continue on I-95 to Bangor. In Bangor take Exit 182A toward US-1A Bangor/Brewer. Take Exit 6A US-1A Ellsworth/Bar Harbor. Continue on US-1A to Ellsworth. In Ellsworth, US-1A turns into Route 3.

* Alternate Route: In Augusta take Exit 113 and follow signs for Route #3 to Belfast and Ellsworth. This route is not a divided highway but it is a very good road to haul a trailer and is shorter than going to Bangor.

From Ellsworth: Follow Route 3 onto Mt. Desert Island. Just after you come off the bridge on the Island, bear to the right on route 198/3. Follow this route to Seal Harbor. (You will have to make two left hand turns. Watch your signs. Do not follow route 102 to Southwest Harbor.) At Seal Harbor, take a left into the Park. (There will not be a gate. This road is very narrow.) At the stop sign, go left toward the Jordan Pond House, but almost immediately, you will take a sharp right onto a dirt road that goes to the Wildwood Stables.
